Political Leaders
There are several political leaders that will always be remembered for their political influence. They have had such a huge impact on society as a whole that they will always be recognized. Their great political works will live on in our hearts and our minds forever. They are responsible for making the most dynamic political innovations that the world has ever seen. They have touched the very lives of others with their political endeavors. Their strength and their courage has paved a way for all of us. They have made such great political advances in the world that they contribute to the reason we are able to live and do what we can today. These political leaders have created such a movement during their efforts that we still follow that tradition to this very day. These political leaders deserve to be recognized all year around, and for that reason alone, they certainly will.
1. One of the most influential political leaders of our time was President Abraham Lincoln. By far, what he has done for the United States of America is of great merit. He started the height of his political reign by becoming the sixteenth President of the United States. He was one of the key political leaders that was responsible for leading the United States to the victory in the American Civil War. President Abraham Lincoln is also highly recognized for his political influence in regard to the abolition of slavery.
2. Another one of the political leaders that is highly recognized is President George Washington. President George Washington was the very first President of the United States of America. He set the standard for political governance. He was able to shape the United States in having some of the core values that are still practiced highly to this very day. He was the one that lead us in our first major political victory in the American Revolutionary War against the Kingdom of Great Britain. By 1789, the United States was one of the most powerful countries in the world. He was one of the political leaders that was largely responsible for establishing the National Bank System. In addition, President George Washington was the first to enforce the tax system in the United States. Washington worked quite intensely to build the nation’s economy.
3. A major political leader is President Nelson Mandela. He is one of the political leaders that is recognized all around the world for his work. He is also one of the political leaders that showed the most resilience. He made several efforts in terms of the abolition of slavery and apartheid. He spoke such powerful words that motivated volumes. Never giving up, President Nelson Mandela finally saw his dream come to fruition. In 1993, he was awarded a Nobel Peace Prize for his honorary work for the people.
